BENEFIT PERFORMANCE FOR THE CHILDREN OF GAZA
The summer’s last performance of THE WORDS OF RACHEL CORRIE at the Provincetown Fringe Festival will be a benefit for the children of Gaza via the American Friends Service Committee.
The play, starring Marissa Lena O’Connor, has been very well received by audiences and critics.
The benefit performance is Tuesday, August 29 at 7 PM at the Provincetown Inn. Tickets are $15. For further information, call (508) 487-2666. Tickets can be purchased at the door or at www.ptownfringe.org/
The play is about a young woman who was killed while serving in Palestine as part of the International Solidarity Movement. It is based on the emails she sent home, detailing her reactions to what she experienced there.
