We invite you to participate in this gathering in the following ways:
Remembrance: Share a memory of Rachel if you knew her as a friend, activist, coworker, student or otherwise.
Inspiration: Share ways that Rachel’s life and death affected you or led to changes in your own life. Or, share a piece of Rachel’s writings that moves you. Many of Rachel’s emails can be read here: www.rachelswords.org/rachels-emails
Action: Share ways in which you are working for a just peace for the people of Palestine and Israel, or for a fair and independent investigation into Rachel’s death.
At 8:30, there will be a candelight procession to Percival Landing, where there will be a short vigil. At 9:00, there will be the first Rachel Corrie Memorial Dance Party, at the Yes Yes studio at 320 4th Ave W.
